GUIDE TO SOLVING SUDOKU PUZZLES
To solve the Sudoku, each line, row and block must have each number 1 to 9.
In this guide we work through the different levels of Sudoku, showing the methods to solve the Sudoku puzzles.
I have taken 3 levels:
1. Easy
2. Moderate
3. Very Hard.
For each level, I work through a Sudoku puzzle showing the methods to solve the puzzle.
Each level is governed by how many numbers there are in the grid at the start.
Easy 35 and above
Moderate 30 – 34
Hard 27 – 29
Very Hard 26 and below
We work through each Sudoku by looking at the following:
1.Numbers – We look at each number in turn, looking at the position of each number in the rows, columns and blocks.
2.Rows – Looking at each row, finding the missing numbers and working out where they go by looking down each column, each row and each block.
3. Columns – Looking at each Column, finding the missing numbers and working out where they go by looking across each row, column & block.
4. Blocks – Working out the missing numbers by looking down each column and across each row.
5.Combination - of the above to find the rest of the missing numbers
We colour code each stage of working, to make it easier to follow the instructions.
